The bag comes with protective studs/feet on the base so it helps keep the bottom corners looking better than if there were no studs. There’s still some contact from the way the leather bends at the base but the studs really help.
Things I prefer about the micro - no studs (I don't like studs) and the length of the shoulder strap. I don't wear mine cross body and prefer the length of the longer strap. I tried the mini belt in the shop and felt that where the bag hit me on the hip was quite annoying. The size you see below is the Mini Belt Bag, but don’t be fooled by the name–like the Mini Luggage Tote, this is the bag’s standard size, and there’s nothing particularly small about it, with a base that’s 11 inches wide and a roomy interior.
