Hi Everyone, I have found a WW2 Military watch at a dealer and I'm trying to check its authenticity. I havent been able to inspect it personally but the seller has been kind enough to send pics and videos of the watch. Seems to check most boxes but I have the following questions. Unfortunately you have a mash up of a bunch of junk parts used to make up this unfortunate watch so don't bother trying to find "original" hands since there is nothing correct or original about the rest of the watch.

The ref # on the case back indicates it’s a 2493-3 but it looks nothing like it. The closest thing I was able to find visually is a 2777-2, but the hands . Oct 3, 2023. Seamaster 30 didn’t have a date version at all. There was a date version of the seamaster 600 but I’ve never seen one with a ‘military’ style dial.
