The Panerai 372 is my personal favorite modern Panerai model. While original 1950s Panerai have been far priced out for most of us, the PAM372 brings back.Polished rose gold colored hands with luminous fill. Domed 3mm thick Plexiglas (plastic) crystal. Deep brown calfskin strap with raw edges & fitted with a brushed finished steel pin style buckle. To match it, the hour and minute hands are done in gold. Like most Panerais, the PAM 372 is highly legible, both day and night. Finally, to top it off, Panerai has decided to fit the PAM 372 with a highly-domed 3mm-thick Plexiglass crystal. With the plexi glass paired to gold hands, it instantly draws my attention to it amongst other watches. The Italian design was further appreciated when I had a look at the full skeleton back of the 372.
The cushion case measures a generous 47mm in diameter, and the trademark sandwich dial’s large Arabic numerals and indexes are instantly readable via gold hands, which have been liberally applied with aged lume.
