Last year, the organizers, the Royal Malta Yacht Club (RMYC) celebrated the 50th anniversary of the founding of this extraordinary race with a record fleet of 130 yachts.Absolutely like a movie that started with windless and a huge effort for all participants for a professional performance, this edition of the Rolex Regatta has passed. Full of drama and the struggle for survival in difficult conditions, each of the participants was faced with the daunting task of showing their preparation to continue.The 40th Edition of the Rolex Middle Sea Race Race will start on the 19th October 2019. The Club is looking forward to welcoming a mix of professional and Corinthian crews, making a welcome return as well as those making their first appearance on the start line in the historical Grand Harbour in Valletta.
