Today's Rolex's blue Parachrom hairspring makes any Rolex more anti-magnetic than the Milgauss. The technology in watchmaking has improved. We no longer make a watch anti-magnetic by protecting the movement with a soft iron cage, but by improving the materials that make up the movement.
It was discussed for a long time, but in the first quarter of 2023, the time had finally come: Rolex put an end to the Milgauss. While the Swiss watch giant used Watches & Wonders as an opportunity to draw attention to eagerly awaited new products, the Milgauss disappeared from the Rolex website.
