I don't have a photo, but I've tried a 39mm Explorer on my 6.5" flat wrist. It was too big. I have had several 36mm watches, including Rolex, and they were perfect.

I have a 6'5" wrist and agree less than 40mm is the sweet spot. The BB58 fits very well and is 39mm (I think). 34mm - 40mm seems about right depending on the style. They are both fantastic, but considering that my wrist size is just under 7", if I could only keep one, I'd keep the 36mm 14270. Great glossy dial, perfect layout, feels super . I have owned a neo vintage 14270 Explorer as well as the 39mm (which I felt was larger than the original design and lacked the “style” of the 36mm), and finally my current .

The 214270 has a larger dial that is about the same size as the bezel of the 16570. For the average wrist, the 36mm is the better way to go. But if you're tall or have a >7" wrist, go with .
